Hey, I’m Bryn – a black and grey realism tattoo artist based in Fremantle, Perth, with over 15 years of experience.

I focus on creating custom black & grey tattoos that are more than just visually striking – they’re built with intention, depth, and strong composition. I’m especially drawn to realism work inspired by mythology, philosophy, film, and history – subjects that explore the deeper meaning behind an idea or image.

For me, tattooing is all about connection, storytelling, and emotion. Whether it’s a mythological portrait, a symbolic design, or something deeply personal to you, I see every tattoo as a shared journey. The best pieces come from collaboration – when you bring your story, and together we create something that feels truly yours.

Getting tattooed by Bryn is hands down the best experience I’ve had yet. From consultation through to finish he only had my health and satisfaction with the art in mind, even readjusting plans completely when I had an issue with my skin to make sure I was safe. Not once was I confused about where in the process we were and Bryn's calm upfront manner helped me to be at ease during some particularly touchy spots.

THE PROCESS

A STRAIGHTFORWARD, COLLABORATIVE WAY TO GET YOUR TATTOO STARTED.

1. enquiry

START BY SUBMITTING THE BOOKING FORM ON THIS WEBSITE (SCROLL TO THE BOTTOM OF THIS PAGE OR GO TO THE ‘BOOK IN’ TAB).

EXPECT A REPLY VIA EMAIL WITHIN A WEEK – PLEASE KEEP AN EYE ON YOUR INBOX AND SPAM FOLDER.

BEFORE SUBMITTING, EXPLORE MY PREVIOUS BLACK AND GREY WORK TO MAKE SURE MY STYLE MATCHES YOUR VISION.

2. DEPOSITS

A $200 NON-REFUNDABLE DEPOSIT IS REQUIRED TO SECURE YOUR BOOKING.

IF I’M UNABLE TO COMPLETE THE WORK, THE DEPOSIT WILL BE REFUNDED IN FULL.

DEPOSITS ARE APPLIED TO THE FINAL COST OF YOUR TATTOO.

3. SCHEDULING

I USUALLY BOOK UP AROUND 2-3 MONTHS IN ADVANCE.

REACH OUT EARLY TO LOCK IN YOUR PREFERRED DATE.

IF YOU NEED TO RESCHEDULE, PLEASE GIVE AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE.

4. PREPARATION

AVOID DRINKING ALCOHOL FOR AT LEAST A WEEK BEFORE YOUR TATTOO-IT AFFECTS BLOOD AND HEALING.

GET A FULL NIGHT’S REST AND EAT A SOLID MEAL BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT.

TAKE CARE OF YOUR SKIN IN THE WEEKS LEADING UP-CONSISTENT MOISTURISING HELPS A LOT.

5. ON THE DAY

ARRIVE ON TIME WITH VALID ID

(YOU MUST BE OF LEGAL AGE).

COME ALONE-GUESTS DON’T HELP THE PROCESS.

DO NOT USE NUMBING CREAMS-THEY INTERFERE WITH THE TATTOO.

I’LL WALK YOU THROUGH AFTERCARE AND PROVIDE A WRITTEN CARE SHEET TO TAKE HOME.

6. CANCELLATIONS

PLEASE GIVE AS MUCH NOTICE AS POSSIBLE IF YOU NEED TO CANCEL OR CHANGE YOUR APPOINTMENT.

SHORT-NOTICE CANCELLATIONS MAY FORFEIT YOUR DEPOSIT.
